Carl Daniel Architects (CDA), Incorporated was founded by Carl V. Daniel, Jr., AIA, in 1989 in Houston, Texas. Two major medical projects in El Paso, Texas, provided the impetus to relocate the firm to El Paso in 1990. Since its inception, the firm has completed over 400 million dollars in construction projects. CDA provides Architectural and Engineering Services to clients within, and beyond the El Paso area. Carl Daniel serves as Principal and Lead Designer of the firm. Mr. Daniel holds Architecture licenses in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona and is a licensed Interior Designer in Texas. Hugo Saldaña, AIA joined the firm in the summer of 2007 as a Partner and Project Manager and brings with him years of design experience and construction with education projects. In January 2010 Steve Franco, AAIA merged his firm CFA Associates with CDA, bringing experience in the field of design and construction administration of commercial projects. Our staff is dedicated and motivated professionals, with two registered Architects.

Historically, CDA has specialized in designs for healthcare, educational, commercial and municipal clients, including The City and El Paso County Hospital District (University Medical Center of El Paso) , The University of Texas at El Paso, and El Paso Community College, all of the El Paso School Districts, and all major Hospital groups.
